Paleo Challengers: Pinched, Weighed & WOD’d

Thanks to everyone who came this morning! Great turnout for this Paleo Challenge. 27 people. 6 weeks. I can’t wait to see and hear all your results! Post comments here if you have any questions while doing your shopping and meal planning this weekend. We hit the ground running on Monday morning!

For some extra-credit reading, I strongly recommend Robb Wolf’s The Paleo Solution. He’s smart, funny, and pulls no punches.

Some of my favorite bloggers are listed below. They all have pretty robust search engines on their sites, so you can type in “digestion,” “fat loss,” “sleep apnea,” “pudding” … whatever’s on your mind … and see if they’ve written about it.

Paleo Chocolate Pudding Recipe I mentioned this morning can be found here. I used a ripe banana plus a couple tablespoons of honey to sweeten it. During the challenge, though, remember we recommend VERY little sugar. This can be a great afternoon snack, even light breakfast or post-WOD re-fuel but I would leave out the sweetener. The banana will be all you need.

    Thanks so much for this info Meghan! I am going through a whole bunch of emotions tonight getting ready for this challenge. Biggest thing on my mind-I don’t want to fail!

  • Not possible to fail. What does that even mean, you know? Is every single thing you put in your mouth for six whole weeks going to be the most ideal choice for your body? Probably not. But are you going to do the best you can and learn a WHOLE LOT about yourself and how your body works along the way? Absolutely. Regardless of who wins the challenge, every single person is going to reap huge rewards you will carry with you, maybe forever.
